THE REPLACEMENT MUFFLER AND RESONATOR ASSEMBLY MUST HAVE THE LETTER "G" FOLLOWING THE PART NUMBER
OR A DATE OF MANUFACTURE CODE 2786 OR HIGHER THAT IS IN RAISED CHARACTERS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MUFFLER
(REFER TO THE ILLUSTRATION).

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves installing a revised muffler/resonator assembly.

Using the procedures outlined in the 1997 Town & Country, Caravan and Voyager service manual (Publication No 81-370-7105) beginning on
page 11-4 replace the muffler/resonator assembly with revised p/n 04809198 as indicated by the letter "G" following the pin or a date of
manufacture code 2786 or higher formed on the bottom of the muffler. Refer to the illustration.
