THIS REPAIR IS COMPATIBLE WITH DAIMLERCHRYSLER'S MOBILE SERVICE PROGRAM AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HOISTS OR
OTHER FULL SERVICE FACILITY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT.
Procedure A:
1.
Insert a blunt non-metallic tool into the side rail slot at the rear of the front side rail end cover and gently pry up until the cover snaps disengage.
Repeat for the other front side rail end cover (Fig. 1).
2.
Rotate the loose end of the front side rail end covers inboard (Fig. 2).
