The MDS2 and the DRBIII(R) will prompt for any other operator action needed during the remainder of the reprogramming process.

Cycle the key to the "OFF" position and back to the "ON" position and wait two minutes. If the vehicle had set DTC Ignition Run Short, and is
equipped with power seat(s), fully cycle the power seat(s).

Use the DRBIII(R) to check the BCM to see if either DTC Ignition Run Short or Reading Lamp Short has reset. If either DTC has been reset in the
BCM, refer to the wiring section (8W) in the 2001 RS Service Manual and proceed with normal wiring diagnostics checking for short to ground in
the affected circuit(s).
