Disconnect the vacuum hose at the rear of the battery tray (Fig. 1) and remove the battery tray.

Disconnect wiring harness from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
5.
Remove the body ground nut located under the battery tray.
6.
Remove the coolant recovery bottle mounting bolts (2) and position the bottle out of the way.
7.
Remove the wiring harness clip from the transmission dipstick bracket (Fig. 2).
8.
Raise the vehicle on a suitable hoist.
