Challenger V8-5.7L (2010)
1. Install the water pump and the mounting bolts. Tighten mounting bolts to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the heater hoses.
3. Install the upper and lower radiator hoses.
4. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner assembly See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt Tensioner/Service and
Repair/Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner - Installation.
5. Install the idler pulleys and mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the A/C compressor and the alternator brace. Tighten bolt and nuts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the fan shroud assembly and two fan shroud mounting screws.
8. Install the fan/viscous drive assembly See: Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and Repair/Cooling Fan - Installation.
9. Make sure there is at least 25 mm (1.0 inches) between the tips of the fan blades and the fan shroud.
10. Install the accessory drive belt See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Serpentine Accessory

11. Connect the negative battery cable.
12. Evacuate air and refill cooling system. See: Procedures/Water Pump - Coolant Air Evacuation.
13. Check cooling system for leaks. See: Testing and Inspection/Leak Testing
