3. Position the instrument panel assembly (2) into the vehicle through the drivers side door. Guide the steering column end (4) through the opening in
the dash panel (3) and install the instrument panel onto the supports (1 and 5).
4. Loosely install all the bolts that secure the instrument panel to the body. Tighten the bolts in the following order:

Top of instrument panel (2) to 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.).

Side support bolts (1) to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).

Bottom of instrument panel (3) to 6 Nm (53 in. lbs.).
5. Install the end caps to the left and right side of the instrument panel.
6. Install the defroster grille to the top of the instrument panel. See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Air Register/Service and Repair/Defroster Grille -
