4. Loosely install all the bolts that secure the instrument panel to the body. Tighten the bolts in the following order:

Top of instrument panel (2) to 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.).

Side support bolts (1) to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).

Bottom of instrument panel (3) to 6 Nm (53 in. lbs.).

5. Install the end caps to the left and right side of the instrument panel.
6. Install the defroster grille to the top of the instrument panel. See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Air Register/Service and Repair/Defroster Grille -

Installation.

7. Connect the wire harness connectors (1 and 2) located on the A-pillars.
8. Install the A-pillar trim panels. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim/A-Pillar Trim Panel -
