Challenger V8-5.7L (2010)
1. Open the hood and remove the power steering reservoir cap.
2. Using a suction gun, siphon as much fluid as possible from the power steering fluid reservoir.
3. Using Mopar Brake Parts Cleaner (or equivalent) and compressed air, clean the area around the power steering pump where the tube nut screws into
the power steering pump.
CAUTION:
Failure to clean the area around the power steering pump tube nut at the power steering pump could allow dirt to enter the power steering hydraulic
system during power steering pressure hose replacement.
4. Remove the power steering pressure hose at the pump pressure port (Figure 2).
5. Remove the power steering pressure hose routing bracket bolt at the upper engine mount (Figure 3).
6. Lift the vehicle on an appropriate hoist.
7. Clean any dirt from the return hose at the return tube.
8. Remove the return hose at the return tube and allow any fluid in the hose to drain. If equipped with a screw-clamp, be sure to save the original clamp
for reinstallation.
8. Remove the routing clamp screw securing the power steering pressure hose to the right side of the crossmember.
