Wheel Speed Sensor: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION

One wheel speed sensor is mounted to each knuckle. The wheel speed sensor, using a tone wheel attached to the hub and bearing as a trigger mechanism,
communicates with the Antilock Brake Module, informing it of that wheel's speed.

The head of the front wheel speed sensor mounts to the inside of the knuckle.
