Challenger SRT-8 V8-6.1L (2009)
10. Install the cross bolts with new seal washers.
11. Tighten main bearing cap cross bolts to 10 Nm ( 15 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
12. Tighten main bearing cap cross bolts to 28 Nm ( 21 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
13. Tighten main bearing cap cross bolts to 28 Nm ( 21 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown again.
14. Measure crankshaft end play See: Crankshaft Main Bearing/Service and Repair.
15. Position the connecting rods onto the crankshaft and install the rod bearing caps See: Connecting Rod/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Piston and Connecting Rod - Installation.
16. Install timing chain (1) and sprockets (2,3) See: Timing Components/Timing Chain/Service and Repair/Timing Chain & Sprockets - Installation.
