NOTE: Due to axle imbalance concerns, it is necessary to make sure pinion flange-to-shaft orientation is maintained. If alignment marks are
not visible, apply appropriate marks before removing pinion flange.
4. Using Puller 1026 (1), remove pinion flange (2) from pinion shaft.
5. Using a suitable seal removal tool (1), remove pinion seal (2) and discard.
