1.
Remove air cleaner, vacuum hoses, throttle linkage, etc.
2.
Locate and center punch on the side surface of the mixture screw housing 5/16" from the front end of the housing in the center of both mixture
screw housings (see Figure 3).
3.
Using a 3/16" drill bit, drill at a right angle (90~) to the mixture screw housing through the outer surface of the housing.
4.
Use a small drift, punch or "L" shaped Allen wrench to pry out plug. Retain plug for reinstallation.
