Install this hose over the suction line and foam sleeve above the filter-drier (Figure 1). With the split in this "cradle" facing upward, install a tie
strap at each end as shown to firmly hold the cradle in place.

If clearance to the engine mount is still inadequate, loosen the filter-drier in its bracket, and raise the filter-drier until adequate clearance to the
engine mount exists. Retighten the bracket.

4.

Gently close the hood of the vehicle and check to see that the "raised" A/C plumbing has clearance to the hood.
