Liftgate Wiper Motor

2.

Slide out switch plate (unsolder blue wire if switch is to be replaced).

3.

Remove drive link.

4.

Remove drive gear.

R & R Drive Shaft Retaining Nut (L/M, Z)

5.

With tool L-4564 or equivalent, remove drive shaft retaining nut and remove drive shaft.

ASSEMBLY

1.

Position drive shaft in housing.  Install and tighten retaining nut with tool L-4564 or equivalent.

2.

Position drive gear in housing so cam on gear is close to armature shaft.

3.

Rotate drive shaft so that link hole is close to motor housing.  Install drive link with longest pin in drive gear.

4.

Slide switch plate into position (solder blue wire if installing a new switch).

5.

Position cover and gasket on housing and install 4 retaining screws.

6.

Install motor assembly in vehicle.
