8. Remove the interior door latch lock link and knob unit (2) from the front door (1).

9. Reach into the back of the door shell to unsnap the plastic clip that secures the end of the interior door handle latch release link (4) to the latch

lever and disengage the link from the latch (3).

10. Reach into the back of the door shell to unsnap the plastic clip that secures the end of the exterior door handle latch release link (1) to the latch

lever and disengage the link from the latch.

11. For the driver side front door only, reach into the back of the door shell to unsnap the plastic clip that secures the end of the lock cylinder lock

actuator link (2) to the latch lever and disengage the link from the latch.
