Valve Spring: Removal and Replacement

1. Release fuel pressure before attempting any repairs See: Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair.
2. Disconnect negative battery (1) cable located in trunk.
3. Remove air cleaner housing (3) and inlet hoseSee: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Air Cleaner
Housing - Removal.
4. Remove upper intake manifold (1)See: Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Intake Manifold - Removal.
