Power Steering Pump - Removal

2.7L/3.5L

1. Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable (2) from battery post.
2. Siphon power steering fluid from pump reservoir.
3. Remove air cleaner housing and inlet tube to throttle body. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance

4. Remove serpentine drive belt. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Accessory Drive Belt - Removal

5. Remove hose clamp (2), then supply hose (3) from pump (1).
