Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
Removal
REMOVAL
The EVAP/Purge solenoid attaches to a bracket near the right rear of the engine. The solenoid will not operate unless it is installed correctly.
1. Disconnect electrical connector from solenoid.
2. Disconnect vacuum tubes from solenoid.
3. Remove solenoid from bracket.
