Steering Gear - Removal

All Wheel Drive

ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE

1. Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable (2) from battery post.
2. Siphon power steering fluid from pump reservoir.
3. Raise and support vehicle. See: Wheels and Tires/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair 

4. Remove wheel mounting nuts (3), then both front tire and wheel assemblies (1).
