Front Input Shaft Seal - Removal

FRONT

1. Remove the transfer case See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/BW 44-40 Transfer Case - Removal 
2. Remove the front input shaft seal.

Rear Input Shaft Seal - Removal

REAR

1. Remove the rear propeller shaft See: Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair/Propeller Shaft -

Removal 

2. Install Holder 6958 (1) onto the rear output flange (2).
3. Remove the rear output flange nut from the input shaft.

4. Remove the rear output flange washer (1)
