Transfer Case Clutch: Service and Repair
Clutch Coil - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Route the wires through the Rear Case Half (2) and install the Clutch Coil (1) into the Rear Case Half.
2. Install the Clutch Coil retainers (1). Tighten to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
3. Install Clutch Coil Wire Terminal Ends into the Clutch Coil Harness Connector (2), engage the Terminal Ends in the Tabs, then install the Cover
(1).
NOTE: If the original convoluted sheath is damaged, install new convoluted sheath
