Charger V6-3.5L VIN G (2006)
The over-slam bumper system is not sufficient to stop the deck lid from contacting the rear fascia when the gap is less than 5.0 mm (0.2 in.) at the
"corner surface and less than 8.0 mm (0.315 in.) on the "horizontal surface". The Service Kit will increase the gap to the corner surface. (Fig. 1).
If the customer describes the Symptom/Condition perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Open decklid
2.
Remove the old deck lid seal.
3.
Install the new deck lid seal assemblies (w/stuffers).
4.
Remove the tail lamp assembly. Refer to the detailed service information available in TechCONNECT under: Service Info Group 8 - Electrical ,
Lamps/Lighting - Exterior, Tail Lamp Unit, Removal.
