Charger V6-3.6L (2011)
1. Open the hood and gain access to coolant reservoir bottle (Fig. 1).
2. Measure distance from end of the coolant recovery hose to the coolant reservoir bottle (Fig. 2).
3. Is the distance 7 mm or less?
a. Yes >>> Repair Complete. If coolant is leaking further diagnosis is required
b. No >>> Perform Step # 4.
4. Partially drain cooling system using the draincock only. Following the detailed procedures found in DealerCONNECT > TechCONNECT > 07
Cooling > Draining Standard Procedure. Drain system below level of the coolant recovery pressure container.
5. Loosen the hose clamp at the coolant reservoir bottle.
6. Push the hose onto the bottle as far as it will go.
7. Tighten the clamp at the coolant reservoir bottle.
8. Measure distance from end of the coolant reservoir hose to the coolant reservoir bottle (Fig. 2).
9. Is the distance 7 mm or less?
a. Yes >>> Repair Complete. If coolant is leaking further diagnosis is required
b. No >>> Perform the repair procedure.

1. Remove the coolant reservoir hose (Fig. 1).
2. Remove protective sleeve from old hose.
