Front Axle - 175 FIA

Removal - Right Axle Seal

REMOVAL - RIGHT AXLE SEAL

1.   Remove right halfshaft assembly. 
2.   Using suitable screwdriver, remove axle seal (1).

Removal - Left Axle Seal

REMOVAL - LEFT AXLE SEAL

NOTE: Inboard (Left) axle seal replacement requires removal and disassembly of the axle assembly.

1.   Remove front axle assembly. 
2.   Drain axle lubricant by turning housing on its side and draining out of left output bore.
3.   Remove differential cover (5) and differential (3). Remove and discard O-ring seal.
4.   Using Remover 9664 and Slide Hammer C-637, remove left axle seal.

Installation - Right Axle Seal
