SYMPTOM/CONDITION

Front disc brakes squeal during light-medium brake application.

DIAGNOSIS

Road test the vehicle and test for brake squeal during lightmedium brake application. If brake squeal is evident under these conditions, then it will be
necessary to replace the front disc brake pads using the following procedure:

REPAIR PROCEDURE

This procedure requires replacement of the front disc brake pads.

Remove front brake pads per the appropriate service manual
procedure.

Discard old pads and shims.
