When assembling the pads and shims, apply a film of the supplied grease to the contact surfaces on both sides of the anti-squeak shim (Figure 1).

NOTE :

MOPAR MULTI-PURPOSE GREASE, PN 4318063, CAN BE USED TO LUBRICATE THE ANTI-SQUEAK SHIM IF THE
SUPPLIED GREASE PACK IS MISSING OR LOST, OR THE BRAKE IS DISASSEMBLED FOR OTHER SERVICE.

CAUTION: USE EXTREME CARE NOT TO APPLY GREASE TO THE ROTOR CONTACT SURFACES OF THE BRAKE PAD.

The pads and shims, when installed in the vehicle, should be in the order shown in Figure 2.

Finish reassembly per the appropriate service manual instructions.
