This procedure modifies the adjustment procedures in the subject model service manuals.
If difficulty is encountered in adjusting curb idle speed and/or idle-up speed after installation or servicing and adjustment of the air conditioning system,
follow the adjustment procedure as outlined below:
ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1.
Thoroughly warm up engine, turn off all accessories, front wheels in straight ahead position, transmission in neutral, parking brake set, and
radiator cooling fan stopped.
