Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

FRONT WIPER

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument cluster panel as previously described.
3. Pull wiper switch outward, then remove wiper switch knob.
4. Remove attaching screws from wiper switch and electrical connector, then the switch from panel.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

REAR WIPER

1. Insert suitable tool behind switch garnish, compress lock tab and pry switch and garnish assembly from instrument panel, taking care not to mar

garnish or instrument panel.

2. Disconnect electrical connector and remove switch. On Conquest models, compress tabs on side of switch and remove switch from garnish.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
