2.

Peel back tape on harness to expose approximately 8" of the coolant sensor wiring (Figure 1).

3.

Cut off existing coolant connector and wiring at a length equal to each repair connector lead.

4.

Splice in and solder new repair connector at these two (2) cut locations and tape splice.

5.

Tape new wiring into harness (leaving in-line quick disconnect exposed on EFI and turbo models only).

6.

Reconnect battery.

NOTE:

THIS SAME TYPE OF CONNECTOR IS USED ON THE TURBO CHARGE TEMPERATURE SWITCH. THIS REPAIR
CONNECTOR MAY BE USED IF REPLACEMENT OF CHARGE TEMPERATURE CONNECTOR IS NECESSARY.
