Fuel Return Line: Description and Operation
Fuel And Vapor Lines
FUEL SUPPLY LINE
The fuel supply line delivers fuel from a high pressure electric fuel pump (mounted in the fuel tank), to the in-line fuel filter. It is then delivered to the
fuel injection mixer. The line is of steel construction and is fitted in place with conventional threaded pressure fittings.
FUEL RETURN LINE
The fuel return line delivers fuel directly from the return outlet on the fuel pressure regulator to the return inlet on the fuel tank. The line is of steel
construction and is fitted in place with conventional fuel hoses with clamps.
VAPOR RECOVERY LINE
The vapor recovery line delivers fuel vapors from the outlet on the fuel tank through the rollover valve (fuel check valve) to the charcoal vapor
recovery canister. The line from the fuel tank to the check valve is of steel construction with conventional fuel hoses and clamps attaching it to the valve
and the tank outlet. The remaining portion of the line is vapor hose with clamps attaching it to the valve and the charcoal canister.
