Tighten fixed SAS until engine speed increases, then loosen until engine speed no longer decreases (touch point). Tighten one full turn from touch
point, then stop engine.
14.
Turn ignition switch ON, then check TPS output voltage. Voltage should be .48 -.52 volts. If voltage is not as specified, loosen TPS mounting
screw, then rotate TPS to adjust. Rotating TPS clockwise increases output voltage.
15.
Turn ignition switch OFF, then adjust accelerator cable.
16.
Disconnect ISC motor connector, then the special tool harness or jumper wires as applicable.
17.
START engine, then check idle speed.
18.
Turn ignition switch OFF, then disconnect battery terminal for approximately 5-6 seconds to erase malfunction from diagnosis memory.
