Position tie wrap approximately 2-2.5 inches (50-60 mm) from collar of select cable.

By using the tie wrap, pull cables together until the shift cable contacts the select cable. Tie wrap should hold cables together securely.
5.
Be sure that control cables maintain a clearance of .75 inch (20 mm) or more from the heater hose.
