Page 24-29 - Throttle Opener Setting Procedures
The throttle opener system shall be adjusted, under the following conditions, according to the setting procedures described below:
1.
Setting conditions:

Coolant temperature 185 to 205~F (85 to 95~C)
^
All lights and accessOFF ories
^
Transmission Neutral
^
Parking brake Apply
^
On vehicles with power steering, set the tires in the straight ahead position to prevent the pump from being loaded.

Make sure curb idle speed is within the specified speed and reset it by readjusting the speed adjusting screw (SAS 1) if necessary (refer to Group
0) - Figure 1.
3.
Switch the air conditioning system ON.
4.
Adjust the engine speed to the specified speed with the throttle opener setting screw.
5.
Turn the air conditioner switch ON/OFF several times to check the throttle opener for operation (lever up/down).
