Make sure curb idle speed is within the specified speed and reset it by readjusting the speed adjusting screw (SAS 1) if necessary (refer to Group
0) - Figure 1.
3.
Switch the air conditioning ON.
4.
Adjust the engine speed to 1050 + or - 50 rpm with the throttle opener setting screw.
5.
Turn the air conditioner switch ON/OFF several times to check the throttle opener for operation (lever up/down).

On vehicles with power steering, set the tires in the straight ahead position to prevent the pump from being loaded.
