Disconnect battery ground cable and remove steering wheel using a suitable puller. Mark position of steering wheel and shaft to ensure proper
assembly.
2.
On 1984-86 models, remove ashtray.
3.
On all models, remove cluster bezel cover using a suitable tool, then remove bezel attaching screws.
4.
Pull bezel outward slightly, then disconnect electrical connectors and remove bezel.
5.
Remove instrument cluster retaining screws and pull cluster away from instrument panel.
6.
Disconnect speedometer cable and electrical connectors, then remove instrument cluster.
7.
Reverse procedure to install.
