11. Reverse procedure to install. Torque bearing bracket bolts to 29-39 ft. lbs. Torque drive axle nut to 145-188 ft. lbs. After installation, ensure boot
length is 3.23-3.47 inch.
Double Offset Joint Type Driveshaft
When servicing the drive axle, do not disassemble the Birfield bell type constant velocity joint, as components on this type joint are precision fitted.
