This bulletin involves an alternative method for removal of tape stripes and molding adhesive instead of chemical products that your dealership may find
faster or more convenient.
There is a product on the market available from the 3M Company called "Scotch-Brite" Molding Adhesive and Stripe Removal Discs. It is used with
either an air or electric drill that has an operating speed of 4,000 to 4,500 rpm. This product cannot be used on vehicles that have been repainted with
acrylic lacquer.

use of this product.
