Fit rocker shaft spring from the above position so that it is at right angles to the plug guide, Fig. 52.

On 2.4L/4-143.5 engines, remove lash adjuster holder tool.

Ensure the notches of the rocker shafts are in the direction as shown in Fig. 53.
8.
On all models, use seal installation tool No. MD998713 or equivalent to install camshaft oil seal.
