Wheel Hub: Service and Repair

1. Remove axle hub in order as shown, noting the following:
a. Remove driveshaft nut from hub using tool No. MB990767 or equivalent.
b. Using tool No. MB991113 or equivalent, disconnect lower arm ball joint from knuckle. Tie cord of tool to nearby part, loosen nut but do
not remove.
c. Using tool No. MB991113 or equivalent, disconnect tie rod from knuckle. Tie cord of tool to nearby part, loosen nut but do not remove.

d. Using tool No. MB990241 or equivalent, push out driveshaft from front hub.
2. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:

a. Install washer and driveshaft nut as shown.
