Inspect the fit of the belt line molding-to-mirror bezel (Figure 3). If the belt line molding contacts the mirror bezel, correct the installation
of the belt line molding prior to road testing the vehicle. The belt line molding should be flush with the surface of the mirror bezel (Figure
4).

Repair Procedure - Procedure A

If excessive space was found between the window channel and the glass, replace the front door window channel as described in the Colt/Summit
Technical Service Manual.
2.
If excessive space was found between the window channel and mirror bezel, remove the front door window channel and assemble it so there is no
gap at the mirror bezel (Figure 5).
