Ball Joint: Testing and Inspection

1. Raise front of vehicle until both wheels are suspended.
2. Have an assistant shake bottom edge of tire in and out and inspect lower end of knuckle and lower control arm for movement.
3. If movement is observed, replace lower control arm assembly. Refer to Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Service and Repair

for proper procedure.
