The JM600 transmission for 1988 model year Conquest vehicles, contains one valve body orifice check valve, instead of three as was used for the 1985,
1986, and 1987 Conquest JM600 transmissions. This change from three check valves to one was effective with transmission No. MR604.
Group 21 (Transmission) of the 1988 Conquest Service Manual should be revised on the pages indicated below to reflect this change.
In addition to the above, orifice check valve identification information (color coding) was inadvertently omitted from the 1985, 1986, and 1987 Conquest
Service Manuals. The check valves are color coded to ensure that the different diameter valves are installed in their proper places.
Please refer to the service manuals listed below and insert the corrected information as indicated.
