Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments
Turbo Engines
Perform throttle cable adjustment with engine at normal operating temperature.
1.
Observe position of transmission throttle slotted cable end and actuation pin on throttle cam.
2.
With throttle lever seated against low idle stop screw, actuation pin and slotted cable end of throttle cable should have a clearance of .225 inch.
3.
If throttle cable is not positioned properly, then adjustments can be made by lifting locking pawl and sliding cable to proper position.
