Oil Pan: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove engine oil dipstick.

2.

Raise and support vehicle.

3.

Drain engine oil, then remove exhaust crossover pipe and left engine to transmission strut.

4.

Remove oil pan attaching screws and the oil pan.

5.

Reverse procedure to install. Clean the oil pan in solvent and inspect condition of oil screen. Using a new pan gasket, apply a drop of suitable
sealant at corners of rubber and cork. Tighten oil pan bolts to specifications.
