Insert screwdriver through plug hole in right side of cylinder block before torquing silent shaft driven gear bolt.

Use tool No. MD998382 and tool No. MD998383 for crankshaft front oil seal installation.

Torque front upper case flange bolts to 9-10 ft. lbs.
