Lightly lubricate anchor plate shoe contact surfaces, backing plate and wheel cylinder piston ends with Mopar Multi-Purpose Grease (part No.
2932524) or equivalent.

Assemble automatic adjuster screw assembly, return spring and shoe-to-shoe spring to brake shoe assembly.

3.

Position lining assembly near anchor plate, then assemble parking brake lever to parking brake cable.

4.

Install lining assembly onto anchor plate, then position adjuster and spring into brake shoes. Install long end of spring to shoe and lever
assembly.

5.

Install hold-down springs.

6.

Position adjuster lever, then using suitable pliers, install adjuster lever spring.

7.

Install brake drum and adjust brakes.

8.

Install tire and wheel assembly.

9.

If any hydraulic connections have been opened, bleed brake system.

10.

Check master cylinder fluid level and replenish as necessary.

11.

Check brake pedal for proper operation.
