6. Alternator drive belt

8. Power steering oil pump.

Remove the power steering oil pump from the bracket and hook it at the body side, with the pressure hose and return hose still connected.

12. Compressor, Remove the compressor from the bracket and hook it at the body side, with the high-pressure and low- pressure hoses still connected.

NOTE:  Replace Gaskets if there is cracking, peeling and/or deterioration. Apply a coating of the specified adhesive between the timing belt cover
(front) and the gasket.

Crankshaft Pulley Removal

Using the special tool and a old drive belt, stop the rotation of the crankshaft pulley.

CAUTION:  This drive belt will be damaged, Do Not use the engine's drive belt. Never use a damaged drive belt on an engine.

Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt.

Timing Belt Tensioner Release

27. Timing belt tensioner bolt

Loosen the timing belt tensioner bolt.

Turn the timing belt tensioner counterclockwise using a screwdriver.
