Tighten the installation screws.

Reconnect the the TPS electrical connector.
Verifying TPS Output To The Control Unit

Without disconnecting the Control Unit connectors, connect a digital voltmeter to the Control Unit terminals as illustrated.

Without starting the engine, turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and check the TPS output voltage. 0.4-1.0 volts
If the voltage is out of specification, test the Throttle Position Sensor, its electrical connections and wiring harness.
11.
Turn OFF the ignition switch.
12.
Remove the feeler gauge.
13.
Adjust the tension of the accelerator cable.
