Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

1. 

To reduce the internal pressure of the pipes and hoses use the following procedure.
a. 

Disconnect the fuel pump wiring harness at the fuel tank.

b. 

START and RUN the engine until it stalls. Turn OFF the ignition key.

c. 

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

d. 

Connect the fuel pump wiring harness connector.
