Remove the Automatic Free Wheel Hub per the procedure outlined on page 2-16 in the 1989 Ram Raider Import Service Manual, Publication
No. 81-330-9019.

NOTE:

THE FRONT BRAKE ASSEMBLY DOES NOT NEED TO BE REMOVED.

2.

Disassemble the hub per the procedure outlined on page 2-21.

3.

Clean and inspect the hub components, replace worn or damaged components.

4.

Assemble hub, using the Brake Kit PN MB290569 and drive gear snap ring PN MB297053.

5.

Install hub per the procedure outlined on page 2-18.

6.

Check the drive shaft end play, as outlined on page 2-14. If the drive shaft end play is more than or less than 0.4 to 0.5 mm (.016 to .020
inch), adjust the end play using Shim Set PN MB241229.

7.

Install O-ring PN MB297065 on hub cover and install cover.
